Embossing is obtained by raising the paper surface using a machine to apply pressure between the heated female die and the matching male component known as the ″counter die″.
Embossing tools are milled digitally and engraved or etched, chemically. A counter die must be used to make an imprint in the material. The raised portions are calculated according the thickness of the application to be embossed, the type of printing used and the decoration you wish to obtain There are a wide range of embossing solutions available including round-round, flat-round, diamond tip, inclined plane and moulded.
Both options (embossing and stamping) and levels may be combined in one single tool.
All thicknesses are available. Materials: Brass, FTX200.
In addition to the different solutions offered, you can add depth and complexity to your decorative finishes by adding texture and special effects to the plates.
